I am guilty, have no defense, and just want to get this over with. Should I even bother getting an attorney?

Even if you’re guilty and you think you have no defense, you should still speak to an attorney. There is many different things that an attorney can do for you, challenging that the case against you, seeing if everything was done properly against you. Because just because you think you’re guilty doesn’t mean the state can prove your guilt with admissible evidence. An attorney can also help negotiate a plea deal for you, if in fact the state can prove the case against you and hopefully get a better resolution than you would be able to by yourself.
