The police want me to talk about a crime they think I committed. Should I comply?

If the police suspect that you committed any crime and they want to talk to you, the simple answer should be no. I’ve yet to have a client that’s been able to talk their way out of anything that they’re suspected of doing, and it’s always safer and better to have an attorney there to make sure that the cops are asking the proper questions and protecting your rights to prevent you from incriminating yourself further in any investigation.
